General info

• One division only per member

• Members cannot be a member of any other Boardrider Club

• To be eligible for a division you must be the specified age or under as of the 31st December 2024. E.G to enter the cadet division (15 & under) you cannot turn 16 or older on or before the 31st dec, 2024.

Divisions

• Micros (assist/foam) 4 - 6 yrs

• Fleas (Assist/Fibreglass) 6-10 yrs

• Junior Groms (optional parent assist / beginner) 10 yrs and under

• Groms (no assist/intermediate) 12 yrs and under

• Cadets 15 yrs and under

• Juniors 18 yrs and under

• Opens

• Seniors over 28 yrs

• Masters over 40 yrs

• Legends over 50 yrs

COMPETITION INFORMATION

• All LE-BA members and parents are expected to help out at competition rounds -

• Your help is appreciated

• Due to insurance – all surfers must be financial before competing –

• (this is a condition of Surfing NSW)

• 10 club rounds are held for little LE-BA and Big LE-BA

• Club members to judge after their heat & follow club rules

• Heats are generally 15 minutes with 20-minute finals

• (dependent on conditions)

• Heats start from the water, paddle out on yellow flag

• Green flag & hooter starts the heat

• Red flag & Hooter ends the heat

• Return comp rashie & get ready to judge

• Check your results, as you will surf again if you placed 1st or 2nd

• Often 2 heats will run at the same time on 2 banks

• the area between the banks is off limits to members, free surfing is permitted outside the flags

• No parent or carer allowed in the judging tent during childs heat
